Lebowski’s Antwerp is a new comedy bar opening on the 3rd of September. On a regular base, you will be able to see international comedians, bringing some new English spoken comedy to Antwerp during the English Comedy Nights. John Hastings and Tom O’Mahony will take the stage on the very first English Comedy Night!
John Hastings has been performing standup since 2006. The Canadian comedian has a theatrical, consciously dramatic delivery style. But while his stories about growing up with a medical condition feel tightly written and, at times, almost performed, he’s razor-sharp when spinning off the script and grabbing an in-the-moment reaction from the audience. He has performed at many international comedy festivals, including the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Ex-MMA fighter and comedian Tom O’Mahony’s first show at The Edinburgh Fringe in 2012 was a sell-out. The Irish comedian followed on with a sell-out show at the International Comedy Club for 10 Days In Dublin Fest. His 2014 show sold out all its Irish dates and saw him sell out yet another Edinburgh Fringe. His next show was another sell-out success in Irish theatres and he is a headline act in many major Irish comedy clubs. He also starred as Rik Mayall on Irish TV’s record breaking hit comedy Damo & Ivor.
