Vorig jaar hield Live Comedy Festival Antwerpen 4 weken volledig in de ban van comedy. Iets meer dan 7.000 bezoekers. 5 deelnemende zalen. Een meer dan indrukwekkende internationale line-up. Kortom: een succes. En de tweede editie belooft heel wat moois! Een nieuwe periode (lente!), een nieuwe locatie (Brussel!) en alvast 2 topheadliners: Bill Bailey en Jimmy Carr!
Last year the Live Comedy Festival in Antwerp welcomed over 7.000 people in 5 venues across the city. With a rather impressive line-up, comedy was everywhere during the weeks of the festival. And now it’s back for a second edition, and bigger than ever. Novelties include a new period during the year (spring), shows in Brussels and some crazy funny headliners: Bill Bailey and Jimmy Carr!
Bill Bailey, star in “Never Mind the Buzzcocks” and “Black Books” reports in his new live show “Limboland” about his adventures abroad and in limbo: 30th of April at Arenberg Antwerp.
Jimmy Carr is the host of “8 out of 10 cats” and has been called “the hardest working man in comedy”. With tons of live-shows, sold dvd’s en comedy-awards, one has the tendency to believe this. Known for having an answer to every heckle. Which will be none the different during his performance of his new show “Funny Business:. 4th of June at Stadsschouwburg Antwerp and 5th of June at Cirque Royal Brussels.
Ticketsales start on Monday the 5th of October.
